Mockingjay: The End of the Hunger Games

Well, enough time has certainly passed and I have finally finished this trilogy. ┬áLet me tell you it has been a little bit confusing finishing up this story. I remember the first one I really enjoyed, the second one was all right, and this one surprised me at the end. I didn’t see her killing Coin at the end nor ending up with Peeta. It also didn’t help that I had a lot of stressful situations going on in my mind as I was reading so was not able to fully concentrate on the story. It gave me the impression this story is a violent one and there were bombs going off and they were constantly on the run. I am sad Prim died and all that, but kind of happy she does get married and has kids. I was surprised at myself for being sad she didn’t end up with Gale, but I suppose she’s with who she’s meant to be with and that’s all that counts. After all that district fighting and having trouble concentrating, the one thing that always sticks out to me is the love story.
